A New Month; A New Semester
These rarely coincide. If you're interested in all the types of events check out Susan Rigsby's blog. I plan to avoid most of the suggestions found there for in addition to the usual start of the year projects, I am working on coordinating a short Bibliographic Instruction session on locating book reviews for a contemporary lit class. The class will include Wendell Berry and John Updike two Christians among the group. I'll be interested to see if the students choose any  other Christian writers to locate reviews and prepare reports for their projects.
