Yes, I know the allusion's passage refers to taxes, but this is as good a time as any to add my encouragement to vote. I don't believe that your vote will be wasted or won't count if you don't vote a certain way because your vote is your voice in this representational democracy and no one has the right to intimidate you or scare you into voting against your views or not going to the polls.
