A Season of Stillness

How does one practice being still when all everything appears to be changing? This was a thought which occurred at Sunday services as I listened to the sermon. I sometimes think librarians take pride in being or appearing to be constantly "busy, busy, busy." What do you think? The lines from Ash Wednesday come to mind "Teach us to care and not to care/Teach us to sit still.
Since the purpose of this blog is not to create meditations, that's all. I know sometimes, getting still means just leaving the building and taking a walk. That may work for an hour, but a season? What about you?
