Orange and Green

Today is the day to show your sympathies toward Virginia Tech by wearing their school color, Orange. Many resources and links are being posted, but here's one from TLT you may not see unless you are on the mailing list. The information ranges from other campus responses, blogs, Chronicle of Higher Education to professional organizations, such as NCTE (National Council of Teachers of English).

Green Represents Earth Day coming this Sunday. There is increasing notice that Christians are just as interested in environmentally friendly activities. Here (2006), here (2007) and here (2007) to identify a few. Although this day comes at the end of National Library Week, are any of you providing resources for an observance?
