Does the commercial showing the young boy diving into a pile of gifts send shivers up your spine? Even Jesus only received three. Sometimes we need to provide a little rationality here.
Anyway, I was updating some links for a class and found a series of articles on Christmas at PsychCentral, including "The Christmas Limit." The site contains other links for promoting a little sanity and compassion, such as Holiday Baking, or Seasonal Stepfamily Stress. I'm sure there's an Information Literacy idea in here somewhere or at least a few links to post on a Christmas web page. Don't say I never gave you anything!
