well maybe not yet according to this article (password required)from the Chronicle of Higher Education. I was impressed that the reporter asked librarians for their opinions about e-books and thought the article covered the basic problems for colleges with this texhnology, such as the lack of a page number for citations. However, I was more interested in some librarians stating that they might consider loaning ipods ? Is anyone in my readership considering these technologies either by adding the equipment to circulation or posting links to podcasting? Would this pose similar problems to loaning laptops?
