Labor Day

This holiday seems to sneak up on me before I can think of posting anything. Anyway. FaithStreams has a variety of links for you to save for future days, including this article," Spiritual or Not."

In this spiritual scenario, each one of God's creations has value, is "very good," or Godly - the product of God's work. And so work is innately an expression of the spiritual nature of each one of us. Moreover, each person inherently knows of their great spiritual value as a creation of God—which provides the incentive for progress in labor issues.

A search in our library found two titles:

Mitroff, Ian I. A Spiritual Audit of the Corporate Life: a Hard look at spirituality, religion, and values in the workplace. Jossey Bass, 1999

and this

Wuthnow, Robert. Poor Richard's Principle: Recovering the American Dream through the Moral Dimension of Work, Business and Money. Princeton, 1996

Does anyone have anything other titles to add?
