St. Patrick's Day

Since I missed World Book Day and other days for many reasons, I want you to have some St. Patrick's Day information a little early. The History Channel is continuing its tradition of providing a variety of links on a Holiday. See if You can do better on the quiz than I did. (Very humbling)

The Catholic Encyclopedia has a good biography, which most of you would already find. Compare it to the entry in Wikipedia, or better yet, have your students compare the two. Incidentally, check out the links at the bottom of the Wikipedia Article for some Primary Documents and information about Chronology.

I brought Wikipedia up because it received a positive nod from Mary Ellen Bates, who has sends out a monthly e-mail on search tips (Also RSS.)

Of course the wearing of the green could easly be spelled 933n, if you want to incorporate leet slang into your vocabulary.
