Oct. 31

I've been mulling over what to present for this day and Religion News Blog has beaten me to the punch so to speak with an article from South Bend Tribune on Halloween

However, my research has found another website which gives a balanced view to Halloween and other controversial issues. Religious Tolerance .Org has a section on Halloween as viewed by Evangelical Christians If you disagree with their insights, contact them, not me!

Do any of you have other Halloween Websites worth looking at?

I titled this entry, "October 31," because this is the day Luther nailed the 95 theses on the Church door at Wittenberg.
Did anyone see the movie, Luther? So far all I've seen are http://www.luther.cph.org/review/
If you saw it, let us know what you think about the movie.

I read the Oxford Encyclopedia of the Reformation's entry on Luther, and have checked out Bainton's classic, Here I Stand. If you want to read his works online check out Project Wittenberg which also contains links to other documents and writings of other persons involved in the German Reformation.

Anyway--Happy Oct. 31st!
