Reference day

It's break Sunday -- yes we're open-- and I'm on duty.  That makes this Reference day on this blog.  This may be all the post you see.  So far people wandering in and out.  Only a handful actually studying.

One reference question about locating full text.   This would have been a standard answer about the Journal Locator except that the article the student had found wasn't available.  We had to go back to searching a database and locating more fulltext articles.  Even seemingly routine questions can become complicated teaching moments.  I learned in the course of the transaction that he was British. (Don't spell behavioral with a U.")
