The 4 C's of Blogging - Really helpful if you are thinking about blogging or trying to improve your blogging. All four apply to most types of writing. Community is your audience. And like most writing, the audience is amorphous "out there somewhere." unless you write constantly to a known loved one or colleague. That link was from early November.

Indeed, one faculty member here mentioned in a recent discussion that we academicians often don't give students a chance to fail anymore because of the desire to retain and help them complete a degree.
