Religion in History

In the process of doublechecking websites for our lists, I found this site on the Decameron which includes three links on religion in the 13th and 14th centuries and how it influenced this classic. while this isn't merely a summary of conditions in the Middle Ages, it would serve as a link between contemporary literature and the influence of religion upon it. The whole site is a fascinating glimpse into the impact of culture on a work.
