Tis the season for hypervigilantism about Christianity and the public celebrations. Crosswalk.com has posted an article "Christian Lawyers Fight Secularist 'Grinches' Over Christmas" which documents several events and provides a summary of activities regarding violation of civil rights around Christmas.
I remember Christmas nativity scenes on the courthouse square in the town where I grew up and my Dad played Santa. I sang Latin (i.e., Catholic Masses) in public school choir and sang other religious materials because those were the most challenging and best materials available.
Does anyone remember the title to the poem which has a line about Jesus' birth as a danger to the world?
