Online Religion Newspapers
These two newspapers were found through Religion News Blog Since they bring a different perspective--some would say bias--to current events, I will be looking at them in the future
Religion Journal.com is a weekly newspaper. Its purpose is "to inform, inspire, encourage and unite the Church by providing an accurate, reliable, worldwide religious news service."
a search in the Journal for "library" found two articles of interest published on Oct. 12
The First is a claim of Religious discrimination by a Mo. library worker who refused to work on Sunday.
The second involves a "free library" in Uzbek. The article is on a ban on an unregistered Uzbek Church but this came about because of a library The ban came after Kurbanov reportedly confiscated books from a Baptist mobile street library and threatened to prosecute the library organizer, Nikolai Nikulin. Kurbanov denied confiscating the books. "[Nikulin] says he was giving them away for free, so I simply took them away to read them," he said, according to The Voice of the Martyrs. "I'm very interested in these books."
The second is a local newspaper in SouthernCalifornia, called the Christian Examiner Does anyone know of any other similar online newspapers?
