Mary

Last Friday, a student asked me for resources on the theology of Mary, the mother of Jesus. Since we're a Protestant school , this posed somewhat of a challenge. In fact, our seminary librarian told me he was ordering more material about the theology of Mary.
The New Catholic Encyclopedia has a lengthy article on the theology of Mary. I didn't find a comparative article when I checked the Online Catholic Encyclopedia, although there is a lengthy article on Mary as found in the Bible.

Further searching today on Google found that the library at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota has a bibliography for a class which pulls together several references The list has excellent annotations and --even better-- lists resources we have on hand.
