Thanks to everyone who has subscribed to this site. I hope I am including information which is new to you. Sometimes it's not new but it's been buried under an avalanche of other information and I want to look at it again. This blog is a good excuse to browse the Internet.

Although acquisitions is not my main concern, I subscribe to the e-mail list from Publisher's Weekly and have found some interesting information about religious graphic novels and the trends of religious themes in contemporary literature "Beyond Evangelical Fiction."

You may have seen this already, but apparently Islamic books are being donated to libraries, according to the Washington Times. "Libraries Revisit Islam." Did anyone receive such a gift or was this for public libraries only?
